Dealer is installing my rear spoiler now. At least this install is free. Spoiler is a somewhat glossy black, kinda like the rear trim and slightly longer than the regular SES spoiler with two large vent slits. About four screws to pull the old spoiler and extend the wire harness for the third brake light and bolt on the new one.

Pictures later tonight....

Tomorrow is window tint, 3M Crystaline to keep the heat out. Probably 40% all around an 90% on the windshield. This tint is expensive but it really cuts the heat and I have noticed already that the a/c has to work hard to keep up with the CA sun. With luck the tint will let the a/c run less. Even with the 90% almost clear tint much of the heat should be blocked so I am tempted to do that all around, just to keep it "legal" but I think the dark windows should look good with the race red.

As Promised a few photos of my fiesta with the sport appearance package now complete.

Edit: swapped in lo-res photos so the thread loads faster....

General shots of the rear showing new spoiler and my 'other' ford in the background'

Hatch open....almost tags the antenna....maybe justification for a shorty but until I get my Angry Bird antenna ball stock will do.

Hatch up, so you can see from inside.

A few interior shots because someone asked for them in an earlier thread

Yeah the interior is a take it or leave it thing....I really like it in person, but it was a risk as I wasn't so sure from the photos, still not sure I won't swap out the stereo surround but it is not quite as loud in real life.

I agree that the black spoiler looks great and the black rear trim finishes the look. The interior is growing on me. I've always loved the seats in the two-tone and it's one of my future mods to do, that is to reupholster the seats with the two-tone look.

Congrats again, and i hope we can see the Fiesta in the Southern Cal meet-up.

Looks good MacD...tint should complete the look nicely. Glad you finally got things worked out with the delivery and prep.

Glad you finally got thongs worked out with the delivery and prep.
OK, the delivery and prep people where I live are all middle-aged guys, and I wouldn't want to have anything to do with their thongs!

that said, I too say "good on ya, son" for your choice of spoiler. That is one eye-catching Fiesta.

The sound system surround in red looks like it's ready to transform and start hunting for Sam Witwicki at any moment, though...

That is beyond scary. Seriously, I've got to think of something else tonight or I'll never get to sleep.

Leather auto shift knob

Yes....I am not sure it is any different from the normal knob. I has been a long time since my test drive.
Has anyone else out there received a leather one installed from the factory on their automatic Fiesta? If so, let us know what package(s) you ordered that it came with.

Shorter Antenna

Hatch open....almost tags the antenna....maybe justification for a shorty but until I get my Angry Bird antenna ball stock will do.

Exactly how mine sits when open, gets ones attention to be sure. But far as I have seen over a year of ownership, it's never touched/left a mark.
If you are looking for a shorter antenna with the Euro Spoiler, try this:

Home Page > Search > Antenna > ES#251689 Stubby Whip Antenna - VT1A0021

I have one, in fact I have three different antennas (currently running a super long VW OEM like the one shown below next to my shorty that I purchased from ECS Tuning.
