I would like to see a video of all the features and how they properly work. Many of the agents have videos showing some of the features, and some that cannot seem to figure out the voice activation feature. And also some night time vids of the interior lighting and the detailed lighting such as the what we call in Europe the submarine lights (rearview mirror plate) that highlight the gear shift area etc.

Just so Americans can get a better understanding how well equipped the Fiesta is, and how these features work and the amount of thought and detail went into this car.

So far I have not see any videos showing how the I-pod , MP3, CD player etc work. Such a functional car , it be a shame if these bits of information are not flaunted.

thanks I know I can depend on you car buffs to really get the message out there.

I am planning on working on a video very similiar to that in the next week or so. It is going to be a very detailed account of the interior, including features, and function of the controls. Planning on some covering the exterior, driving, and engine as well. Exams, work, and mission planning have got in the way of some of my ideas. I need a second version of me to help! :)

As for voice commands, I have given up on them. It doesn't understand me, and since all of the dials are nice to touch, I rather just use them instead. Phone dialing would be nice, but it never works for me. I say x number, and it reads it as y number. I know that is just from the US vs UK english translation, and should not be an issue with the US cars. My owners manual is also in German, so its useless. The English version is available via PDF, and is 200+ pages long. Have not had time to go over it.

Brandon and I have a number of things planned, but just waiting for the weather to be good enough to film outside. He works opposite of my schedule, so getting time for us both to work on filming, and the weather is good, is very hard. :)

Don't worry, stuff is in the works!

Keep in mind that the voice system and the blue tooth system in our Fiesta Movement cars are NOT representative of what the US will get with Sync. Sync is more intuitive and will work better.

I will try and get videos at night, but the cameras I have can't capture night time video with poor lighting well at all. I will definitely get some pictures and integrate them into a video- slide show style. That is the best bet to properly showcase the interior subtle lighting.

I don't think Sync does anything with climate control using voice. I have given up trying to make the voice stuff work. Besides, the knobs are nice enough that I want to touch them to make adjustments. I prefer switches and knobs over voice commands.

On the FiestaMovement site regarding the monthly mission video, agents are saying that they are awaiting approval from Mission Control before the video is posted on the site.
I thought Ford said they are not editing content/comments?
What is this approval process and what exactly is being approved?

Another reason I ask this question is there is one agent I think his name is Daniel G who is posting many videos that have nothing to do with Fiesta whatsoever

The only videos we have to get pre-approved are the actual monthly missions. We have to do this because we can not have unlicensed music or certain inappropriate stuff since those videos are directly hosted by Ford, therefor they would be on the hook. They also have to make sure you accomplished your mission...sticking with the Mission control/Agent theme. :D

The other random content is 100% unfiltered...and I agree, it is a bit annoying when people post unrelated stuff and tag it for the movement.

Thanks for explanation Mark!

I was reading a glowing reiview from a driver that participated in one of the Ride & Drive Events at Tempe AZ http://tiny.cc/yDEWB
Fiesta sure is getting positive results in USA.

I have asked Sam were one can read test drivers comments from the Ride & Drive Events but did not get any response.
On the Ford Media site Ride & Drive press release they state that they will have internet available for test drivers to post comments
on the Fiesta. Maybe this info is going only to Ford. Anyone have any info on this would be greatly apprecitated.

The mission video's are the only ones that need permission from Ford to share publically, the rest are free to post any time. The missions can be used as part of an ad campaign, so legal things like music, release forms for people in the clips, and things like that are what is being looked at. It is not a way to censor what is being said, just a way to make sure the content used for the missions is ok to use for an ad campaign at a later date.
