Is the Sony radio faceplate (control panel, whatever it is called) interchangeable between the model years? I have a 2018 Fiesta SE with the sync 1 radio that I am upgrading to the Sync 2 system out of a 2014 Fiesta (came with navigation). I am looking at a Sony control panel off of a newer model ST Fiesta. Can I make that control panel work with the screen out of the 2014 Fiesta with the Sync 2 system?

Finished project:
Retrofitted SYNC3 into my 2014 Fiesta, reprogrammed it entirely for my car including enabling HD radio, electronic AC controls, backup-cam, GPS, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Really proud of the work done. Can do a full tutorial if anyone else is interested.
