Hi. I'm new to this website so hopefully I'm putting this in the right thread.
I've just replace the headgasket on my fiesta s 2014 1.0 ecoboost. The engine starts and runs but there is a now a tapping sound that is dependant on engine speed. This sound wasn't there before I started. All parts were genuine from ford and all torque settings and procedures were followed correctly. But this noise is causing me concern. Have a missed something? If anyone else has had a similar issue I would gratefully appreciate a little guide or advice.
