Most all German cars are that way for some reason.I also noticed that I can't turn on my headlights unless my key is in
the ignition and it is turned to the "run" position.
So...I can assume that's the way the Fiesta is wiredIn the owner's manual, it says that there is an "accessory delay" feature which allows you to use the power windows, radio, and moon-roof
(if equiped) for 10 minutes after the ignition switch is turned off or until one of the doors is opened.
I don't have a power moon-roof, and I can work the radio after the ignition sw. is turned off, but I can't work the power windows after the switch is turned off.
I also noticed that I can't turn on my headlights unless my key is in the ignition and it is turned to the "run" position.
I just wondered if all of your cars are set up the same way (regardless of what the manual says) or if something is turned off in the software of my car that needs to be turned back on.
