I am strongly considering it, although this is my first Black car so I'm not sure how good it will look.

I might... but I won't go over what's legal here in NY. Tint looks pretty nice on silver cars

I'm pretty sure it will look good on black cars too though - it will at least hopefully make it a few degrees cooler inside.

Oh that's the first thing I'm doing once I get delivery of the Fiesta. It's way to hot in Southern Cal in the summer and the tinting will ease that a bit.

Yeah.. I think so too. I just wish you could tint the front windows in Michigan.

My Mazda6 had 30% llumar tint on every window, except the windshield. I wouldn't recommend getting anything darker than 25 or 30% VLT, as it will look ghetto and impede your night driving.

I'm probably not having the Fiesta tinted. The setup I had on my Mazda was technically illegal in NJ and I got about 6 tickets (mostly from the same cop) and went to court 3 times over it. Cops will do things like write you one ticket per each illegally tinted window and make them mandatory court appearances. Pretty weak.

I plan on not running a front plate on the Fiesta, so that'll be my one illegal thing.

If I lived in an area where tinting the front windows is allowed, I'd probably get 40% film.

Be sure you check your local state or provincial laws on what the tint laws are. Some places tints are illegal. Others have % limits as to how dark they can be.

Get the best ones that you can afford. Usually the dyed films turn that awful blue/purple that you see on some cars. Go with a graphite or metal-embedded tint material, and ask around for a GOOD installer.

I can tint all my windows except for the windshield because my eyes have trouble adjusting to bright light, so I can get it done since I have a prescription for it. What is stopping me is that I don't have my fricken car yet.

Definitely will tint here in S. Florida. Rear doors and back window can go limo tint(5%) legally, but I think I'll go 30% to match front doors which is darkest allowed. Should look awesome with my Monterey Gray SES with upgrade pkg. and polished 17's.

I plan on 15-20% tint all around. It's illegal here in California to have your front windows tinted, but hey, that's what having cop friends are for.

My current car is black exterior with black interior and I did 35% llumar ceramic tint on everything except the windshield. Windshield got 50% tint. Illegal here in California, I have driven by many cops in a few different cities, highway patrol and park right in front of the sheriff's building at work and never had em bat an eye at it.

For the Fiesta which will most likely be black on black, I will probably do 40% ceramic all around and 50% on the windshield. I think 35% looks great and not ghetto dark, but sometimes I wish I had gone slightly liter. I think 40% all around with 50% on the windshield will look very factory and clean.

Window tint looks awesome on the Magenta Metallic.......It kinda "completes" the look.....

Tint may look better on some colors than others but I'm not sure I've ever seen a color that (intelligent) tint looked bad with. This doesn't apply to stupid tint colors though......

Unless he's talking about prescription eye wear i.e. glasses.

I haven't had an issue with prescription eye wear (normal glasses and sunglasses) and tints.
