Brilliant, nice job Marc. IMO this clearly shows that the 2 bar grille if body colour keeps its Euro face pretty much intact.
Still think it is too bad that the top 2 inches of the trapozoid is lost, but what-ch-a going to do.

my computer won't let me see the image, but I am betting the upper grille will be chrome. It will then match the current Fusion, Taurus, Focus, and everything else in the Ford lineup besides the Mustang. I can't imagine it would be body color, or else they would have molded the shape into the bumper rather than having it two peices.

I believe Ford is going to drop the Chrome Grille seriously, it does not fit this car at all. A chrome grille would kill the looks of this car and if they're serious about keeping the EU look they will paint it body color. I can not imagine how ugly this car would be with a big huge honking chrome front plate on it that would blind the drivers in the on coming lanes if the sun hits it just right.

He would not be able to make any comments on it. They are really hush-hush since the intro is only 7 weeks away. I am guessing the bottom one is more accurate. I actually like the bigger bars better since the many thin bars looks more like a VW. Body colored or black upper grille would be the best, but I doubt body color will happen.

Yeah, thanks Bryan! I completed the photoshop at work, where I have a normal mouse instead of finger painting on my laptop at home. Didn't think I could accomplish it so I'm really happy with the result. There are some tiny bits left though: the upper car only has one fog-light (taken from the Verve), the lower is a 3 door (!), the line above the blue oval is too low, and ... no crooked passenger side wiper!

That's what I hope. Maybe I should start making noise a bout a I4 Turbocharged RWD coupe about the size of the current Focus. I could really go for one of those right now. Ford, what do you say?



Seriously though, I really like what I see in the spy pic's and the latest snafu from Cualalctican [sp]. I cant wait to see the reveal.

Its what Scion tends to do thats why they have their marketing as personalization. Of course Ford did similiar with the Fiesta Movement as what Scion did with their convention that 100 owners were selected to attend and give feed back for the next generation of Scion vehicles. Hence why they look more JDM spec than what they have in the first generation.

Its possible that it could be brushed aluminum similar to what the Taurus Grille is. But I still lay down the money on it being body color.

Ford's caught wind most likely and had them removed to prevent any leakages of what the final product will be. I don't twitter either.
