Marc,
I sent you some pics of my ZX3 on facebook, go ahead and steal the white wheels off of any picture that fits the best.

Strange how the chrome grille makes the front look longer and more pointed. The black grille makes the car look flat. Body color with the USDM lower intake makes the center part of the bumper too thick. Funny how those little changes really make a big difference.

Looking at the different styled grills against the ST Orange, I really like the Black plastic grille. BRGT350, I say that is second and the body colored is third. It really looks along the lines of Ford AU 's stuff. The verve grille looks like a luxury car. I like all except the chrome one. I could live with it, but I am not feeling it.

Maybe the final grilles will change my mind.

Very Nice! You must have taken the front wheel off of my car when it either on track or autocrossing since the centercap is missing. Too bad we won't be getting a 3-door version. Outstanding workmanship on the photoshopping.

With the smaller lower opening, I think the black upper grill really adds to the front of the car. It evens out the look from the front. A body colored top grill with the smaller lower grill makes it look top heavy in comparison.

BTW, can someone do a Sonic Blue chop?

Hey Marc, that rendering is outstanding! I have not been on facebook to check my mail yet. I will download a copy of the pic and change my twitter background. It is really exciting to get a glimse of what my next car will look like!

Subtlety is my middle name.
If you put both pictures over each other, you will find that the bumper is a little stretched out aswell. On the pic of the green Fiesta, you may find that the rear lamp is all red and also the bumper is a few pixels wider! (Forgot the windscreen wiper though). I don't think anyone can see it, but at least it gives me a good feeling, knowing these facts.

Looks good on your Twitter, Bryan! Hard to see it has been changed at all -- I wonder if Sam would notice. Hmmm... maybe I should've used the Verve grille instead for a more dramatic effect :)

Not all the EU Fiesta's have power folding mirrors. The agent cars just have breakaway mirrors, and they don't have the power folding option. I also don't see the signals in the mirrors happening since the turnsignals have been moved to the headlights to make Uncle Sam happy. Maybe auto sensing wipers. I really like that option, but could live without it.

Bryan, I may not want a full top of the line trim unless it actually would be a real "Ghia" with all the badges etc... I do however want to see the goodness come over for those that like this stuff. Though I wouldn't honestly mind rain sensing wipers so I don't have to deal with meddling with the wiper stalk all the time especially when the intermitten is just too long or too short of an interval. I feel that if Ford is going to market this thing as premium we should have all the premium features to come along with. I know I'm going to be buying projector headlamps and rear fog lamps.

@mrbirdman
At first I didn't understand what you wanted, but then I remembered the GT40 and Fiesta ST and went right away.

But ... it's simply impossible to do!

Nevertheless, here's a little something anyway:

The problem is: what shade of blue is "ocean blue"? I googled and found anything from cyan to dark blue.
(I'm getting a little better in manipulating colors now, maybe this is what Ataru wants, too?)
Also the crease in the door is playing tricks on me.
Don't tell me you want viperstripes on the hood too!?!!

Stripes running up the middle on the hood/roof and back hatch, Ocean blue is the same shade as the Imperial Blue seen on the Escort Cossies and the GT40's. That shade of blue you've done is pretty damn close. Also the shade of blue that Focus ST is.

The two part louver style body color grill is tolerable, just barely. It still markedly changes the character of the car in a way that makes it look slightly asian, like the 2000 Civic hybrid nose.

I am still holding out for a miracle in that maybe, just maybe Dearborn has been doing the styling exercises to fool the competition.

One can always hope!

Yeah, not gonna happen. As it is, it's closer to the EU car than could have been predicted...they got rid of the chrome grille we all thought was a shoe-in didn't they? I imagine if they had decided not to use the larger chrome grille from the beginning they would have enlarged the lower air intake to match the Euro car even more, but since they decided to go for the smaller upper grille so late in the game (I assume, going by how all the prototypes spotted had the 3-bar grille even a few months ago) they probably couldn't change anything outside the upper grille insert itself.
