Azulejost linked this in another post but I thought it deserved its own topic.

AM2 over at Blue Oval Forums posted this rendering:

I think it's really close, except the spy photos suggest a smaller top grille opening with the bars and the Ford logo higher up.

Anyway, I think this proves that the US Fiesta can end up looking really nice despite the modifications.

looks great except for the fog lamp area and the upper grille. I just can't stand chrome bars that don't fit in with anything on the car.

I gotta say the grill just simply DOES not mesh with this design, I would suggest that they remove the chrome bars and go with matt black instead they could keep the chrome surround, that would work perfectly.

I don't care for the foglamp design either but if they redo the grill in black it would not be too big an issue. Actually the car looks a little bit like the Audi A4.

comparing it to the Verve sedan, it is almost an exact match. Mirrors are different and so are the reflectors on the bumper cover.

I agree, all spy photos seem to be indicating we're getting the Verve grille going back to the winter test Fiesta (link). Until now I had been a fan of that grille, but now it looks almost Toyota Corrola in shape design which is certainly not ideal. I'd prefer just chrome trim around the outside of the grille and maybe black-out the 3 bars. Plus, I think the chrome headlight housings look better than these black designs.

I also agree about the black out headlamps. They don't look right.

I also have thought more about the fog lamp housings. They need to keep the ROW round trim surrounds.

Lastly as I have mentioned in another thread DO NOT CHANGE THE EXCELLENT EUROPEAN SPEC FRONT SEATS!!!!!!

After I saw this

I have no idea what Dearborn is thinking. You can tell the US version is likely unsupportive and would be tiring during long trips ..The bottom cushion is also thinner than the euro version as well. Looks CHEAP!!!!

Over at Blue Oval Forums, BORG said he knew "for a fact" that Ford developed completed different seats for the US. I haven't the slightest idea how he knows, but it wouldn't be surprising giving America's overall larger size. The seats cannot be much wider than they already are or there will be no center area for cupholders and such at all.

Interesting video of the Fiesta sedan launched at the Shanghai Auto Show, and explained very well by Ford China's Chelsea Lau
YouTube - Chelsea Lau introduces the Ford Fiesta

Couple of items I notice on the China Fiesta are, material cover on the back of the rear paxs seats, and a clever storage drawer under the front paxs seat.
