I have a 2013 Fiesta, 65,000 miles. Recently it has occasionally not started on the first try, I figured it was maybe just the cold, but it happened a few times, then yesterday while driving the entire car (engine and electronics) shut off while I was driving. I pulled to the side of the road, and I was able to start it right up again.
I just got the battery and alternator checked, both are good, and the guy said the startup was normal. There are no dash lights on. The times that it hasn't started, when I opened the car door no lights or displays would light up, and there wouldn't be a peep when I turned the key. I get out, shut the door, immediately get back in, lights come on, turn the key and it starts right up. I (and the Autozone employee who checked the battery) have no idea what it is, any thoughts are appreciated!
