Today afternoon was busy one. I installed st spoiler, did little improvement to my 4 ch in-car camera system and did first test spray for the plastidip sunstrip.

 

Gave my car a nice thorough wash and wax today.

I applied Meguiar's Paint Protect last week and wow this stuff repels water like crazy. Not sure about the 365 days of protection, but I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a product like this. It's like a paint sealant. I read somewhere it also provides UV protection. Goes on really really easy, can even get it on trim and it won't damage it. I used very little of the product because of how easy it goes on. The bottle will last you a long time.

So my car has a coat of Meguiar's M21 MIRROR GLAZE® SYNTHETIC SEALANT 2.0, Meguiar's paint protect, and Meguiar's M26 MIRROR GLAZE® HI-TECH YELLOW WAX.

I love working on my car, and it shines like crazy

Fiesta decided it didn't want to start this morning when I was getting ready to head back to my folks for mothers day...... So tomorrow I guess I'll get to buy a battery and install it. Sorry mum, blame the fiesta! lol.

Since Scrapin The Coast is right around the corner, I'm prepping with some more stretch on my wheels. Going 165/40 on 8.5's. I know most of y'all are gonna hate me for it. But I'm pursuing my vision and my build. It'll get me even lower to the ground with a smaller profile and more stretch. And I won't rub anymore. It'll also enhance the look of the stance and poke. Can't wait!!!!

Be careful on a stretch like that, do not exceed highway speeds. I have seen many tires blow out from a mean aggressive stretch.

For some reason when looking at this picture I remembered the rear seat / false floor discussion. Wouldn't it look cool if you shaved the rear doorhandles and then found a way to weld / fiberglass so the rear door seams didn't exist. You would be left with a 3door with a mean stance

 

But then I would have to get a full paint job.

 

I don't get it. What I do know is that I've nearly been killed by one of these stretch jobs failing on a car in front of me. If I were an officer, I'd ticket every single one I see. Super dangerous.

 

Car finally has a battery back in it. Was kind of enjoying having a reason to walk to work.

 

Replaced my driver side mirror signal light reflector. It's a bloody pain in the ass to pop the painted cap. I resorted to violence, and chipped my spotter mirror. . I'm not excited at replacing the mirror...

Good to see you finally got it! I do enjoy the 'touch of chrome' on the knob better and the IC bezel than the silver paint.
