They are on the front bumper - on the SE they are black, on the SES they are silver?

Do you know how difficult it would be to replace one with the other or even better - take them out and get them painted the same as the body color?

The interesting thing about the sudden interest in "chrome" trim in the past couple of years or so, even affecting "economy" or affordable cars....is like a virus that spreads and spreads between not only within a single car maker BUT to many makers as a whole....same with the stupid cheap LED "accent" lights...Bleech!

It seems to me that they ALL (car makers) listen too much to marketing companies and such....
that is what happens when a company hires too many consultants and gives them more influence than their own stylists and engineers...A FAULT OF ALL CAR COMPANIES TODAY.

Another option that I will call them on my SES is changed to the black ones. Based on what I see in the shop manual it looks like the housings and the lighting bar are 2 separate pieces and are fairly easy to change. That should make the bezels cheaper at least for the black ones.

While they are of little practical value, I am going to buy them separately from the parts dept. to install on my SE. The way the options are bundled you cannot order the SFE package and get the LED lights as well. That means there are cheap plastic plugs in the bumper cover the holes where the lights should be. I'd rather have the lights than cheap plastic plugs. One advantage of ordering them as I am is that I can get chrome bezels on my SE if I wish. And I wish. If the grill is chrome, they should match. Just my opinion.

I'd love to have the fog lights. They're certainly more useful. That doesn't seem to be among our options here in the US though. The LED lights are just what is available. I know I DO NOT want to look at those cheap plastic plugs in the space the lights should be in.

Could be that Ford realized that most Americans don't know that fog lights should only be used for, you know, fog and not for announcing "hey I have fog lights!" on perfectly clear nights.

If that were the case Ford would have deleted them from every new vehicle....
I can't tell you how many times I've seen F150 drivers with them on and since they are on a truck they are high enough to dazzle drivers of cars .

I'm a strong advocate for fog lights on cars because properly done fog lights are very useful in night time rain and actual fog. What I'm starting to hate is the option of running fogs without headlamps. People seem to think they're a fine substitue for condtions like rain where law requires headlamps on during a rain storm. They're not, law requires headlamps means you turn on your headlamps not just your foglamps. But also Americans are more for ''Bling'' on their cars rather than RoW where actually minus Japan much of the stuff we put on our cars is banned. Such as outlandish and oversized rims, excessive nightshading of tail lamps and headlamps etc... The American idea of the Automobile in the past twenty years has taken a complete 180 from the essential tool of sensibility in getting from point A to point B to what owners call them their own ''personal works of art''. That's the jist of it right there.

While we're talking hating, fogs being left on with headlamps all the time REALLY disturbs my calm and has become an indication people here in the US are mindless morons. Mustangs, Ford F trucks, Dodge trucks, etc. Sorry, can't convince me otherwise that there's a reason for running them ALL the time. We might get 1 day of fog a year in Phoenix, and haven't seen any in over a year so........

I also have a clear conscience as I nail anyone (running 4 or more lights) with 'my' fogs and laugh my butt off as they go by with their faces lit up. I get the high flash back on occasion, (and then they really get it) but I only respond in kind and never with more (which is very tempting and would be quite easy) except in the fact that my lights are always better and adjusted correctly.

Looking forward to figuring out what's involved in getting more light on the Fiesta. I also agree, the chrome 'thingys' really need to be black. That will be high on the priority list.

Hey at least your Fiesta will actually function properly unlike a lot of iphones when it was first introduced. I gotta say I'm not a fan of Apple in general even though they are innovators on occasion. Anyhow I like to tinker around so Windows suits me better.

Apple are not innovators, well I guess they're innovators when it comes to talking down on their customers. Anyone who says Apple is innovator needs to actually look into technological history. Apple did NOT do anything first even though they make it seem like they are first.
