Thanks Rodmoe, I officially invite you to SE GA, almost every Friday when I am off hit 1/8 or 1/4, with practice your RT on the tree will get better, thanks for posting the numbers!!! What was your 60 ft time?? You get that down, overall time will drop, did you turn off TCS? I can tell by your shift points would run quicker in 1/8, hard to keep rpm's up unless you powershift,(not recommended of course!!), again thanks for taking the time to run and share the video, I may take plain jane just to get a time!!

ASP, this time you are not dead on with figures , it ran 16.02 (Hell Mach runs 13.4 stock), the 60 ft time (2.69) killed the time and you all are missing the point. Ask the dude and I bet he tells you he had a BLAST!! I have seen stock Honda Civics and the like, it is about the comaradie, talking to people and having fun...same thing you do at your autocross events...hell I have pulled up next to blown LS3 Vettes in the next lane, what should I do,back up and pull back to the Bleachers??? He had fun and the balls to represent in a different venue, for me it was great to see something other than another auto cross cam video of a passenger gigglling, well played Rodmoe!!

Oh, in my armchair have stacks of timeslips (though a timeslip wasn't posted but a GREAT video),and review them and video to see what I did wrong, I would venture the same as a auto cross person reviews whether they hit their marks properly and where on the track they can modulate to pick up a tenth.

yes 90 degree weather is bad for 1/4 mile run. a Fiesta ST should run in the mid to high 14s. some corrections: Fiesta ST has a 10.0 to 1 compression ratio [not 10.5] and the curb weight is 2742 [not 2500] lbs. the non-ST hatch curb weight is 2537 lbs.

yeah, seeing the time slips is exactly why I won't run the ST down the quarter mile. Too many variables to get a good time. When I had my ZX3, I tried drag racing a few times. The fastest I ran was a low 17 second pass. I sold the car, and the new owner posted a time slip of high 14's. The gearbox let go shortly there after. I wasn't willing to drive the car hard enough to get a good time. Once you post a time slip, everyone armchair critiques your runs.
