Anyone care to list what their occupation is? I'm sure others might find it interesting.

I am so, so sorry...Me - I'm a computer geek - am a SQL Server database administrator.
Not sure if there's anything in your area of expertise, but try looking at the careers page for www.meggitt.com. We have several locations in So Cal and do various things in aerospace engineering.I'm currently a CNC Machinist working for an automotive prototype contractor in Detroit, but I'm moving to Southern California in about two weeks with no solid job lined up. I do have some leads for similar work in the Aerospace industry and also for automotive prototype fabrication. I might try my hand at bartending full-time though, since I love to work with the public and have done some sidework as a bartender in the past and really enjoyed it. The long-term prospects aren't as good as fabrication or CNC, but the money and job satisfaction are enough for the short term.
Something about Navy people and Fiestas...I am a former navy cook with 25 plus years, after taking a break from working for the military I am now in training to be a civilian ammo technician.
Aye, sir.Which tires the ones on the st?
Interesting. I honestly did not know they were Japanese.Nope, Japanese. Hint: they bought Firestone in the late '80's

I'm guessing that's now what we call NCTS Yoko? That is what I did at NavComSta Japan (1971-1974) as an Electronics Tech. The Crypto equip I worked on was for TTY. This was State-of -the-Art then. It is all gone now. So what I know is obsolete, as am I.
Dave
I'm a Crypto Tech (Networks). We're more of a bane to the IT's existence than anything...DBS,
What is your rate?
I was an ET for 5 years then an IC for 3 years.
When in Japan I worked on things I couldn't talk about either.

I'm guessing you're not refueling, then?kc-135s are my office right now.
The U-2s are 55 years old...That sounds like B-52s...
I listened to an Air Force guy on the "meet the feds" panel at this year's DEFCON in Vegas. His description of whet the Air Force did in respect to DoD networks was mostly BS (the Navy trains the other services and has a more impactive role in the process), but then again he WAS an officer... so I've taken a grain of salt to you guysUSAF aircraft electrician that's all i can say sorry
