Ok, I get the last part, but what exactly is "forensic rehabilitation"?

I'm currently a CNC Machinist working for an automotive prototype contractor in Detroit, but I'm moving to Southern California in about two weeks with no solid job lined up. I do have some leads for similar work in the Aerospace industry and also for automotive prototype fabrication. I might try my hand at bartending full-time though, since I love to work with the public and have done some sidework as a bartender in the past and really enjoyed it. The long-term prospects aren't as good as fabrication or CNC, but the money and job satisfaction are enough for the short term.
Not sure if there's anything in your area of expertise, but try looking at the careers page for www.meggitt.com. We have several locations in So Cal and do various things in aerospace engineering.

Specifically take a look at this: https://career8.successfactors.com/...=job_listing_summary&navBarLevel=JOB_SEARCH&_s.crb=V+pQLLvWHVaUUu3oCBynpKkZjkM=

We've got locations in Simi Valley, North Hollywood, Corona, Irvine, and Gardena (that are within a radius of the LA/Orange County area)

Considering This ceased to be over a year ago, Let me update. I do the same thing... just for a large global company making a helluva lot more than I did when I first posted this.

I guess I should update here... I'm no longer in the Navy of course... but I'm still doing Information Security for Orange County's largest employer... And I have a cube:cool::

That is what I did at NavComSta Japan (1971-1974) as an Electronics Tech. The Crypto equip I worked on was for TTY. This was State-of -the-Art then. It is all gone now. So what I know is obsolete, as am I.

Dave
I'm guessing that's now what we call NCTS Yoko?

DBS,
What is your rate?
I was an ET for 5 years then an IC for 3 years.
When in Japan I worked on things I couldn't talk about either.
(Not even to myself!)
Last billet was LPO of PLAT/LENS on the KittyHawk CV63.

Dave
I'm a Crypto Tech (Networks). We're more of a bane to the IT's existence than anything... :D

USAF aircraft electrician that's all i can say sorry
I listened to an Air Force guy on the "meet the feds" panel at this year's DEFCON in Vegas. His description of whet the Air Force did in respect to DoD networks was mostly BS (the Navy trains the other services and has a more impactive role in the process), but then again he WAS an officer... so I've taken a grain of salt to you guys :p

I say this with all love to my fellow military members :D
