The bulbs for the fiesta are a h11b. I ordered the H11b kit. I have not driven the car at night yet because i have a second vehicle i use for work. But I should find out in the next 2 days and hopefully take some better pictures..

Its Federal Law that you can not put Xenon's in a Halogen Bowl. It blinds people now matter how low you aim them.

True... but Cadillac Escalade with projectors and HIDS blind me? They should be illegal. My friends Avalanche with Ultra Silverstars blinds me. They should be illegal. Im not saying they are legal. To small a sidewall on a tire on a car is illegal. Hanging stuff from your rear view in some states is illegal. Running any type of Colored light other than Amber is technically illegal. Talking on your phone is illegal in a bunch of states with out hands free is illegal. Tinting headlight and tail light housings are illegal in some states. Changing to a diff housing then what was DOT approved to sell on that car is illegal. Changing just about anything on a car is illegal unless the Manufacturer sells it. its illegal to drop or lift vehicles to much. Its illegal to drive without using your turn signal. Its illegal to not stop fully at a stop light or sign... I see more people not do that than I see HIDS. Seriously i understand where this is going. YES they are illegal. YES i have never had a problem yet with any HID kit i have owned. NO i don't want to blind people. I just wanna make sure I can see the best I can. So please stop complaining. I have already been looking at getting projectors or new housings. Its a new car and there is not a lot of aftermarket yet. I would love the EURO housings. But I have been reading all over they MAY not fit. I don't have an extra 500-600$ sitting around to do that and find out it doesn't work. If I have to remove them I will... Unless you follow all the road rules 100% correct I don't wanna hear another thing from you. I may have bright lights, but i follow the road rules. I set my cruise at the speed limit, ALWAYS use my blinkers, stop at EVERY red light and stop sign. If you don't do any of these. You are a hazard just like these lights are.

Looks like a road hazard to anyone else on the road with you. Why not do everyone unfortunate enough to have you driving towards them a favor and get actual projectors???

$288 US per side isn't that bad and honestly, I hope that if you didn't already take them off because they are obviously blinding, that a cop pulls you over and issues you a ticket to do so.

BTW (by the way in case you didn't know that) genius I have been driving my other car at night not to blind people. Being NICE! give it a try.

I think they just stick on the outside of the the lense based on what I read on the description page and the pictures.

HMMM not sure I would do that. Would look tacky i would think... But still could give you a very different look.

I just wanted to say i have been driving my car for about 3 hours tonight. No one has flashed me and I have gotten out a few times and stood 45-60 ft away in the opposit lane. It was not blinding. The light itself is not that bright. There is about the same amount of glare as factory. It is not bad at all.. My one friend didn't even realize I changed them till after I told him. He never complained with me following him for an hour. He didn't know like I said till I told him. win win for the fiesta. I was worried it would blind people. The pictures I loaded up were very bad. In person its hardly noticeable for some reason. Not sure how a 6000k or higher would look. But 4300k is very nice, and hardly noticed by anyone.

EDIT: My friend has put HID kits in all his cars. The Fact that he did not realize that I had one was very surprising.

Yes i know they are illegal but I really like them after using them for 2 days. No one has flashed me, things are going well. BTW TECHNICALLY all aftermarket HID kits are illegal. Not one is legal even with projector housings. You must have the factory HID's from the manufacturer. I looked up all the laws because of all this. Only the TRUE HIDS from the dealer are DOT approved. I spent 3 hours looking it up because I didn't know all the rules. YES there illegal. but im leavin them in unless I have problems

My eyes are to narrowed? The good news birdman is that this forum is about a community and not just you or anyone else that is mad about this. Everyone does there own thing no matter if it legal or not. I support modifying as a whole. If you wanna tint your windows darker than legal and (possibly) crash because you can't see?? Its your car. I have enough stupid people in my town that can't drive with a normal car. Maybe a little extra light will weed them out. You act as if the world will end with a little extra light. If a little extra light will make you crash. Then I hope you stay off the roads at night. You voiced your opinion, as did everyone else. Im keeping my lights, this is not about your or what you like, this is a forum community that lets others know what is out there. Some people im sure wanted these lights, and now know its illegal. It will keep many at bay. This forum keeps people connected about information. If I can show people where to get something they want. Then i will show them. I enjoy everything everyone shows about SVT or Ford Racing parts. Im delighted Ford built this car, and brought it to us in the USA. I am looking forward to meeting and joining a Fiesta Club in my area. (first page of this post for anyone interested in HIDS )

I second not making any threads on putting turbos in your car since its illegal in most states to modify your cat, oh no window tint threads either since thats illegal in certain states as well. In fact, lets just stare at the screen and contemplate on what we can't post.
